Vander Miguel A. Calete

I believe that people are basically good. That there is will of helping and treat each other with kindness and respect, that bad behavior and actions are particular episodes that still shock people, and that hopefully they are never going to get used to mistreatment and lack of affection.

People are kind and they usually intend to treat people well and help others and expect to be treated as the same. When you go to an institution or establishment, the interaction with people there is based on kindness and politeness. It happens not because they are paid to do so, but because of the fact that it is part of human nature to help others and make good actions. In other words, people are supposed to be good, and following this line of thought, I choose to give credit to people around me until they prove to me that I was wrong for doing that.

I believe in it because I see people trusting each other with their lives. Many people depend on someone’s decision, activities, and attitudes to keep on going with their lives. On businesses, basic community services, discoveries I can see that ethic and respect for human integrity are usually in first place even when people know that out there are others with harmful power, they still can sleep peacefully.

I believe it is natural to trust in people but with awareness; giving a confidence vote to them. Even if one of them let you down there are a thousand others to lift you up.
